The Local Academy Board is seeking to appoint a Lunchtime Sports and Play Leader to join our friendly team of lunchtime staff. You will be required to plan, lead, assist and mentor children in activities and games during playtimes, whilst encouraging good behaviour and ensuring their safety and welfare. We are looking for someone who enjoys working and playing with children; can you help make sure our children have a happy lunchtime? You will need to be organised, patient and caring and enjoy being active, working and playing with children and to be able to work as part of a team. You would also need to be able to speak, read and write English. St. George’s C of E Academy Newtown is a rapidly growing two form-entry mixed primary school. We are a Church of England school situated in the heart of inner city Birmingham. We serve a diverse community and believe that by ‘Growing Together in Newtown’ we can achieve anything.
