37 hours a week, 39 weeks a year (term time & 5 days for staff INSET & CPD)

Full time equivalent salary range: £19,698 - £23,080 per annum Candidates actual salary range will be: £16,811 - £19,698 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to join our hardworking student services team to support the first aid and health needs of our students while they are in school. You will join a fantastic team of support staff want to make a difference to young people’s lives.

We are seeking a caring person to assess the medical and welfare needs of our students and administer front-line first aid to them. You will ensure that pupils with ongoing medical needs are supported in school in line with their Individual Health Care Plans and administer approved medication to students and maintain records and reports, including those for statutory requirements. You will also responsible for coordinating appointment schedules for visiting health practitioner visits such as student vaccines. You will hold a full First Aid certificate as a minimum requirement and be responsible for ensuring other first aiders in school renew their certificates in time.
