All Saints CE Academy, Denstone - Grade 2 - Teaching Assistant
Applicants must have experience of working in and across both key stages and also be confident in delivering phonics and interventions. They must also have the necessary Early Years qualifications as the position will require them to work in the EYs classrooms each afternoon. The successful applicant will work under the direction of the class teachers and Executive Headteacher. We are looking to appoint someone who is committed to achieving high standards and will work closely with colleagues as part of a friendly and supportive team.
Ideal candidate requirements:
- DfE approved Early Years qualification
- Current experience of working in KS1 and KS2
- A good team player who is confident to work collaboratively
- Passionate about supporting all pupils
- Ability to adapt work and planning
- Ability to use own initiative and be flexible
- The ability to work closely and effectively with parents
Grade 2 Teaching Assistant – General Level 1 £18198 to £18562 per annum, pro rata
Maternity Cover Term time only plus INSET days
Hours per week: 8.30 a.m. – 3.30 p.m.
Temporary one-year fixed term contract to start 1st November 2021
