nationally for achievement.
Aston Manor Academy serves a culturally diverse and economically disadvantaged catchment area yet year on year produces excellent results for its very deserving student’s. We firmly believe that one of the key hallmarks of Aston Manor Academy is the positive, friendly and supportive ethos which enables all of our students to make progress, both

We are seeking to increase our existing pool of staff to assist with examination supervision throughout our busy exam periods. The role is ideally suited to applicants who feel a sense of responsibility for today's young people and are highly organised, vigilant and reliable, have excellent attention to detail and have the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Hours worked would be on a demand basis. Duties would include preparation of exam rooms, distribution of scripts and supervision of students during examinations. We particularly need staff who are willing to act as a reader or scribe for students who have additional examination access arrangements. Training will be given to the successful applicants, however an approachable personality, the ability to be flexible and work as part of a team would be welcomed.
This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
This work may appeal to professional people who have retired and those who have experience of working with secondary age children, although the role is not exclusive to these groups.
The successful candidate should have a commitment to the Trust and community ethos.
