The Role

High Meadow Community School is seeking to appoint an outstanding early years' teacher and inspirational leader who is enthusiastic, committed and motivated to driving standards and has high aspirations for all pupils in their care.

They will take on phase leader responsibility (for which a TLR will be awarded alongside extra leadership release time) with a F/T teaching commitment in Reception but also leading the amazing nursery team too.

Start date January 2022.

The right candidate will be an outstanding teacher, with the knowledge, personal qualities and commitment needed to further improve outcomes for our children and ensure they are motivated, inspired and happy learners. They will possess the leadership skills and potential to guide staff as a team, ensuring consistency of practice and achievement of the highest possible standards.

We are looking for someone who will

•Be a dedicated practitioner, seeking to improve their own practice
•Be an outstanding teacher, establishing positive relationships and delivering consistently high-quality provision across EYFS
•Have extensive knowledge of teaching and learning across EYFS
• Actively take part in wider school life
•Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to challenge and support colleagues
•Enjoy working as a team and share and collaborate with colleagues
•Be flexible and adapt to the needs of the school and its pupils
