We are looking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and committed team to lead and deliver intervention sessions for individuals/small groups of children to help them reach their full potential and also support classroom activities.
Fixed term contract length - Oct 2021 - Jul 2022
•Teaching Assistant Qualification to at least NVQ Level 2, or equivalent.
•Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths at grades A – C.
•Committed to own professional development, and be willing to undertake appropriate training.
•Good communication and listening skills and be able to present information verbally and in writing.
•Some experience in delivering intervention programmes for small groups and individuals is desirable.
•Able to feedback information to teachers/PP & SEN Leads.
•Good knowledge and understanding of the curriculum.
•Able to use ICT effectively to support learning.
•Can adapt planning if required.
•Have a ‘can do’ attitude, able to solve problems and exercise initiative.
•Demonstrate full understanding of safeguarding issues within a school setting.
