There is an exciting opportunity to join Nuneaton Children's Team as an Enhanced Team Leader. You will be joining a very well-established, strong, motivated and supportive management group who work hard and to high standards.

Nuneaton Children's Team is a busy and fast-paced team but one with a very supportive and cohesive team culture where the ethos is firmly child focused and aimed at improving outcomes and enhancing life experiences for the children, young people and families with whom we work. We adopt a positive, can do and problem-solving approach to our work based on restorative and trauma-informed practice; we set ourselves high standards, are not afraid to challenge ourselves and others and are always keen to improve upon our best.

You will be 1 of 4 Team Leaders within the Children's Team and will supervise approximately 6 workers with caseloads of Child In Need, Child Protection, Children In Care, Care proceedings and Adoption. You will also work alongside the Team Leader for the Prevention and Intervention Team and the newly developed Warwickshire Family Safeguarding Team of domestic abuse, mental health and substance misuse workers who joined our team in August this year.

The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
