We are looking to appoint a qualified, passionate, and enthusiastic, Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant (TA / LSA) who has experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities SEND) to start as soon as possible to join our friendly, hardworking school with a committed, supportive staff and enthusiastic children in our Foundation 2 class. 

The successful SEND TA / SEND LSA will need to be able to support pupils that have specific learning difficulties. With support from other members of staff, you will support pupils with their progress and attainment, and during lunchtime, supporting their personal and social development. 

Experience supporting some of the following would be advantageous:

Autism (ASD)
Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties 
Speech and Language Difficulties

This is a temporary role, which will be reviewed termly. The position is five days a week. 

You must have an NVQ level 2 (or equivalent) and experience of working with children on the Autistic Spectrum.

• Organised and have good interpersonal and communication skills.
