Early Years Educator

The Role

Stockingford Nursery School is a Local Authority Maintained Nursery School. Warwickshire Library are situated on the same site, as are Children and Family Centre Services run by Barnardo’s.

Stockingford Nursery School includes provision for 2-3 year-olds in Little Nursery, and for 3-4 year-olds in Big Nursery. The ethos of our Nursery School is distinctive and we believe that every child is unique, with their own interests, learning styles and culture.

We are looking for an inspirational Early Years Educator to work full time, term time only, in Little Nursery as a Key Worker from November 2021. Working hours are Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 4.30pm and Friday 8.30am – 4pm.

We offer a purpose-built nursery building and garden, children who are enthusiastic learners and an experienced staff team who are committed to providing high quality teaching and learning experiences for our children.

Key Requirements

Applicants should have experience of working as a keyworker in an Early Years setting or class and should hold, as a minimum, an NVQ Level 2 qualification. We are looking for a creative practitioner with a sound knowledge of child development and experience of building effective relationships with families.
