As the User Researcher, you will be integral to the success of the project and embedding of user-centred design culture within the organisation. You will seek to fully understand the users and non-users of our services, as well as their needs and will be the advocate for users to the rest of the organisation. This is a Fixed-Term contract until July 2022.
What will you be doing?
- Planning, organising and executing user research activities, recording and presenting your findings back to the team and stakeholders
- Recording and analysing results, feeding back in reports and presentations
- Collaborating with designers to create recommendations for iterations
- Working to understand the end-to-end context of services
- Engaging with the organisation’s user panel through online platforms
- Collaborating to embed user-centred design into the organisation
- Knowledge sharing through blogs for local and central government
We’re interested in people who have:
- Experience of a range of user research methods
- Experience working with a digital product
- Experience using analytics, user feedback, user research and other sources of information
- The ability to turn research into clear findings to inform decisions
- A relevant degree or professional qualification in behavioural fields would be beneficial but not essential
