Birmingham City Council is seeking an enthusiastic people to join our busy Housing Support & Solutions Team to deliver our services.

If you are proactive, customer focussed, passionate about preventing homelessness and would like to do meaningful work than this might be just the job for you!

This role will require you to deliver a responsive and customer focused temporary accommodation (TA) tenancy support service that enables customers to sustain their TA tenancy and successfully move on into suitable secured accommodation.

We are looking for people who:

  • Are passionate about preventing homelessness and changing people’s lives
  • Are solution focussed
  • Are empathetic and able to deal with customers in a sensitive and appropriate manner in a demanding environment
  • Have strong communication (verbal & written) skills
  • Are IT Literate and Microsoft Office proficient
  • Have ability to work flexibly
  • Are accurate and attentive to detail
