Assistant Team Manager
We are looking to recruit an Assistant Team Manager, Adult Safeguarding. To be based in the Adult Safeguarding Multi-Agency Hub (MASH). The MASH receives all new Adult Safeguarding contacts and alongside safeguarding partners considers what actions need to be taken with regard to section 42 of the Care Act.
Support to the Team Manager in respect of Large Scale Enquiries and Person in a Position of Trust referrals.
Representation on operational and strategic meetings in respect of Adult Safeguarding and the Dudley Safeguarding People Partnership.
Hours: 37 per week
Salary: Grade 11
To manage a small but committed group of social workers in the Adult MASH, To ensure an appropriate, proportionate and timely response to adult safeguarding contacts received. To ensure good performance from the team in respect of timeliness and appropriateness of decision making.
Oversee attendance and meetings such as MARAC and MAPPA.
A qualified and experienced social worker with knowledge and background in Adult Safeguarding.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children and vulnerable adults; therefore the post is subject to medical clearance and an enhanced DBS check.
