Fixed Term Contract due to SEN 1:1 funding until 31st December 2021 in the first instance

The Governing Body of St. Matthias CE Primary School in Malvern is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to support the work of our Nursery to enable children with Special Educational Needs to secure good progress and achieve their personal goals. Experience of working with children in an Early Years setting is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. Dependent on your previous experience, your role might include delivering interventions with individuals / small groups of children with communication and interaction difficulties.  We are committed to continuous professional development so a passion for learning and personal improvement is essential.

This is an opportunity to work as part of a dedicated and aspirational staff team to support groups and individual children to enable them to be the best version of themselves.  The duties and responsibilities allocated to the post will be based on the skills, experience, knowledge and qualifications of the individual appointed, which will determine the salary grade.
