The Worcestershire Pension Fund administers the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) on behalf of approximately 200 employers and 62,000 members. 

Developing LGPS experience and expertise could be your ticket to a wealth of opportunities: the LGPS is one of the largest pension schemes in the world and its 87 separate, geographically organised LGPS funds across England & Wales manage pensions for 15,700 employers and 5.9m members, with assets under management of £291bn.

Role

We are looking for someone who is highly organised and able to prioritise workloads, has excellent mathematical skills, and enjoys working in a busy team and meeting challenging deadlines

You will be responsible for a varied workload, providing information to employees, updating the pensions administration system, liaising with scheme employers, and calculating benefits. 
We are offering a £16,878 to £17,910 full time (35 hours per week on a flexible working basis), permanent contract that would be based at County Hall although we are currently mostly homebased. The role offers you membership of the LGPS.

Key requirements

You will be expected to have a demonstrable experienced and knowledge in IT. You will need to be clear, concise oral and written communication skills. Effective numerate skills and the ability to understand routine calculations.
