The Role- KS2 Teacher & Phase Leader: Main/Upper pay scale plus TLR 2B £4,781 per annum

Priory Primary School is seeking to appoint an outstanding Key Stage 2 teacher and inspirational leader who is enthusiastic, committed and motivated to driving standards and has high aspirations for all pupils in their care, taking on phase leader responsibility (for which a TLR will be awarded), to work in our incredible school from January 2022.

The phase leader will be responsible for providing leadership and management of the school’s key stage 2 curriculum, delivering high-quality teaching and effective use of resources.

As a phase leader, they will contribute to whole-school self-evaluation and school improvement planning, and be responsible for mentoring and developing staff within the phase. They will offer guidance and support to teaching staff, modelling best practices and showing up-to-date knowledge of current theory and practice. 

The phase leader will be expected to fulfil the responsibilities of a teacher, as set out in the STPCD, including planning and teaching lessons, assessing pupils’ progress, and managing behaviour effectively.
