Salary: Career Grade HC9/HC10 £33,782 - £42,821 (dependant on PQE and achieving core competencies)

As a lawyer in our transitions childcare team, you can take on career defining work involving young people transitioning from children to adults services. Currently we have a non-statutory improvement notice in our Children’s Services, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of our legal team supporting Children’s Services. You’ll be an enthusiastic and motivated qualified barrister, solicitor or legal executive. Experience of the law under the Children Act 1989 or Mental Capacity Act 2005 is essential and preferably both. You’ll have excellent interpersonal skills, analytical skills and demonstrate exceptional organisational abilities.

Whilst we invite applications nationally and we have a flexible approach to working, you will need to travel to Herefordshire on occasion, for example, to undertake advocacy and attend some office meetings.
