Salary: Scale 3 (£19,312) Pro Rata ~ 40 weeks per year
Start Date: 1st December 2021 (or sooner)
Contract: 37.50 hrs per week
Working Pattern: 8.15am-3.45pm Monday-Friday (+5 TED days + 37.5 hours for additional school events (3month probation period)
We are looking for a full-time key team member who is vibrant, energetic, confident, and dependable to join our busy school office. You will assist in maintaining excellent support to pupils, parents, and staff in your role of School office support. Due to the nature of this role, it is essential that confidentiality, professionalism, and reliability is maintained along with having a proactive and a “can-do” attitude to work.
Applicants must be confident in the use of ICT packages to include Power Point, Word, Excel and information management systems. Training and support will be provided for all processes to ensure data is managed accurately and in line with school policies. Examples of work will include processing and managing data, communicating effectively with all parties and maintaining school news by way of website updates and newsletters.
It is essential that applicants consider themselves to be friendly and approachable who has patience for assisting pupils. We pride ourselves on our friendly and caring school community with any new team member requiring to adopt this approach with pupil’s support being a priority.
Working in our school office is rewarding. It is at times pressured and the successful candidate will be challenged often with prioritising demands. They will however be well supported and with the right approach to their role will quickly become a values part of our team.
