We are looking for an exceptional individual to lead the Online Apps team in Warwickshire.

About the Team and the Role

We are recruiting for an experienced Software Delivery Team Lead to work closely with the Online Applications team and its customers. 

Building and leading an agile delivery team, you will help support and deliver high-quality, customer-focused, technical solutions that exceed our customer's expectations.

Although a strong understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) is very beneficial, this is a non-technical/people focused role.  We are looking for someone who will create, influence, and support an environment of innovation, self-learning, and continual improvement.  Someone who wants to drive forward the team through both a personal development and customer delivery. 

Some of the key aspects of the role:

 

  • Leadership of the development team with a focus on team morale and delivery whilst building ownership and engagement
  • Working with the team and its customers to build development pipelines and delivery/release schedules
  • Work to develop best practices and development standards. Ensuring that they are adhered to, measure team progress and work on improvements
  • Line management of the team including 1-2-1s, performance management and personal development
