Band G (SCP 19 – 24) £25,481 - £28,672 per annum (pay award pending)

37 hours per week

Stafford Borough Council is looking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor who will work across two locations as part of the delivery of a Shared Service for Cannock Chase District and Stafford Borough Councils. 

You will need to demonstrate a solution focussed approach to providing a range of professional HR services including sickness management, advice and guidance on terms and conditions of employment, discipline, grievance and capability, as well as research and HR project work. 

We are a relatively small team with big aspirations and a desire to make a difference.  A well organised, flexible, and pragmatic approach to managing a diverse caseload is essential.  Knowledge and understanding of employment legislation and policies with the ability to provide practical solutions to managers and employees as well as supporting organisational change are also key requirements. 

Whilst service delivery needs are key, we are also able to offer flexible working options which include a mix of office and homebased working.
