Housing Solutions are pleased to advertise this newly created post having successfully being awarded funding through The Rough Sleepers Initiative programme (RSI) from the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG). The post has funding for 8 months with future funding subject to successful bids.
The Council is seeking to recruit a highly skilled and motivated individual who is able to demonstrate the ability to assist and support individuals to live independently and sustain accommodation for those whom have previously rough slept or been at risk of rough sleeping.
This post is an exciting opportunity to deliver independence and resettlement into the wider community by assessing the individuals support needs and working with the individual to achieve agreed outcomes.
Whilst it is a short contract, this opportunity really will give the successful applicant an introduction into the work that housing solutions do, whilst gaining further skills and broadening personal knowledge.
The authority offers an excellent employment package with flexible working, a non-contributory health scheme, Local Government pension scheme and generous holiday entitlement.
Appointment will be subject to satisfactory references, right to work in the UK check, medical clearance and DBS check.
For an informal discussion about the role please contact Gemma Sidaway, Housing Solutions Manger Referral and Compliance, on 07854 415865 or by email: gemma-sidaway@tamworth.gov.uk.
