The Role
Kenilworth Multi-Academy Trust (KMAT) is a growing organisation and is currently made up of two schools. Kenilworth School and Sixth Form is rated as Outstanding by Ofsted and as the only secondary school in the community of Kenilworth, is oversubscribed with motivated and well behaved pupils.
The school is currently on a split site, with Years 7 – 11 based at Leyes Lane and Sixth Form set on our Rouncil Lane site. The school is well resourced to support the delivery of science and the post holder will join a supportive team.
We are looking to appoint a Science Technician to be based at Kenilworth School & Sixth Form, within an established and committed team of Science Technicians to support a large department. This is an exciting post for a Science Technician to join the team and training can be given to a suitable candidate with a science background. An awareness of working within manual handling and COSHH procedures would be advantageous, but not essential.
Typical Duties:
•Assisting Science Technicians and teachers in setting up and clearing away practical experiments

•Working within guidelines and procedures to ensure the laboratories are clean, safe and tidy.
