Job Title: Programme Manager - 18 months fixed term (permanent position opportunity may be available)
Hours: Full time – 37 hours per week
Salary: Grade 11

An exciting opportunity has arisen in Dudley for a suitably qualified and experienced Programme Manager to play a pivotal role in developing and driving the First 1001 days and resilience work in Dudley by directing, organising and controlling project activities to give every child in Dudley the best start in life.
Dudley is currently in the process of transforming it’s maternity and early years services via joint commissioning of services, development of integrated pathways, service re-design and pooled budgets. We need someone with a passion for child development and a vision for a Child Friendly Dudley to join our dynamic Team.
The post holder will apply project management expertise to support a portfolio of health improvement programmes, which aim to improve health and wellbeing and reduce health inequalities. This will include contributing to building capacity for health and wellbeing improvement across the council, partners and the public.
You will need to have a degree or equivalent professional qualification in project management (ie.PRINCE2), be highly self –motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills and a track record of delivering projects with multiple partners/ stakeholders.
