Exam Invigilators
Responsible to:
Exam and Entrance Test Manager
Rate: £9.25 per hour

Hours of work: By negotiation and agreement during the external examination series which are November, January, May/June and Internal Examination periods as needed.  Typically, a morning session would be 8:00am to 12:00pm and an afternoon session from 12:00pm until 4:00pm/5:00pm dependent upon the length of examinations.

Ormiston Shelfield Community Academy is an exciting and dynamic place to work. We are an oversubscribed secondary academy with over 1400 students on roll at Key Stages 3-5.

We are looking to recruit Exam Invigilators who are reliable, flexible and readily available during main exam periods.  Our ideal candidate will:

  • have effective communication skills and good interpersonal skills
  • work well as part of a team
  • be confident and a reassuring presence to candidates in exam rooms
  • be able to give instructions and manage situations involving different groups of people
  • have basic IT skills
