About Us and The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative team working with:

18 – 25 year old care leavers , We want to ensure that the young people we work with have a sense of feeling cared for, cared about and are given the support and advise they need to be able to make positive choices and care for themselves as they mature.

Based in Warwick you will be working alongside and supporting young people to make a successful transition to independent living. This includes working directly with young people to achieve their goals, working closely with other agencies to form support plans for young people and signposting young people to alternative community supports where needed.

The role entails travelling both within Warwickshire and out of county, therefore regular access to a vehicle will be required.

You will have experience of working with young people in care and/or care leavers and up to date knowledge of legislation.

The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
