We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and committed individual who has a strong ethos and value base to deliver positive outcomes for some of our most vulnerable children.
Staffordshire’s Placement Service is recruiting a Placement Lead to manage the placement finding team. The team supports the search of placements to meet the identified needs of those children who have been assessed as needing alternative living arrangements.
The team consists of 6 Placement Finders and 1 Commissioning Support Officer.
Your role as Placement Lead will be to have oversight and co-ordination of all placement activity within the team, providing advice, guidance and supervision to the Placement Finders and liaison with internal and external providers.
In addition you will require the ability to analyse placement activities and utilise this information to develop and refine processes within the team as well as providing observations of trends and gaps in placements to help problem solve or inform future planning, e.g. recruitment of carers, commissioning intentions, etc.
The role is based within SP1 Stafford with a flexible approach to working at home and being office based.
