An opportunity has arisen within the SEN Team for an Assistant Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) Officer role for a fixed term period of 6months commencing as soon as the candidate is available. This is an opportunity to join a supportive team of people who are committed to ensuring that quality services are provided to our children and young people with SEN.
Some of your responsibilities will include the following:
• To undertake a range of administrative tasks in relation to the functions and duties of the SEN Team.
• To work as a member of a team to ensure the statutory requirements currently relating to the assessment of children with SEN are met
• To act as the first point of contact for enquires from parents, schools and young people; providing advice and support through the Statutory Assessment process.
