We are seeking to appoint a full time Personal Carer at this innovative, all age special school. You will be required to provide a high standard of care to pupils’ personal needs, and implement related personal programmes, including social, health, physical, hygiene, intimate care and first aid, and to assist in the implementation of programmes such as occupational therapy and physiotherapy.

In the role, you will be supported by local nursing teams and internal staff. The role will require you to work with pupils across all key stages. Hazel Oak is an outstanding learning environment, with pupils who have a broad range of needs including Autism, ADHD, Downs Syndrome, social, emotional and behavioural challenges and a range of personal care and medical needs. Staff are well supported at a personal and professional level, and are actively involved in the school’s development with access to regular training and peer support. We advocate a growth mindset and a positive outlook to support the development, wellbeing and self-esteem of our students across the age ranges.
