37 hours per week, term-time plus one week

Jubilee Park Academy has a fantastic opportunity waiting for you!

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Learning Mentor who is passionate about working with children.  We are looking for an individual who uses innovative ways to support underachieving pupils to overcome barriers to learning.

Our successful candidate will have experience of:

• identifying pupils to be mentored.
• setting targets and compiling action plans that ensure pupil progress is made
• working closely with staff to ensure mentoring activities inspire and motivate pupils
• planning; developing and delivering programmes that enhance pupil learning
• working with and supporting families

The successful candidate will need to undertake an Enhanced DSB check as well as other necessary pre-employment checks, including: qualifications (where applicable); medical fitness; identity and right to work.  All applicants will be required to provide two suitable references.
