Early Years Teaching Assistant Apprentice (Level 2 or 3)

We are seeking to appoint an Early Years TA Apprentice who will work in our busy Nursery and Ridgeway Rainbow Tots 2s Group.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Good social and communication skills
  • A professional and confidential manner
  • To be a committed, punctual and reliable member of the team

    Main Duties will include tasks relating to the care and education of the children 0 – 5 years
     

Entry Requirements:

  • English and Maths (Grade C or equivalent).
  • Or a level 2 Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification for a Level 3 Entry

Salary

The current National Minimum Wage for an Apprentice is £4.30 an hour. This rate applies to Apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices will be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over AFTER completing their first year.

  • 25 years and over: £8.91 per hour
  • ​21 to 24: £8.36 per hour
  • 18 to 20: £6.56 per hour
