We are seeking to employ a part time Kitchen Assistant to join our team.  This position will be part time 18 hours over 5 days.

We are committed to providing an excellent catering service to our pupils and staff. We are an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ primary school with one form entry year groups, inclusive 210 pupils and a 52 place Nursery School, situated near to Walsall town centre. We are a small and friendly school, with a strong community based ethos. We are also part of the Cadmus Family of schools.

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team.

Duties include assisting with the preparation of food, serving pupils, washing up, kitchen cleaning and general kitchen duties.

Previous experience desirable. Candidates must be already have or be willing to undertake the Level 2 Food Safety and any other relevant training. On occasion the candidate should be willing to take part in training and cleaning days and be happy to have some flexibility with working hours.
