Casual Exam Invigilator

The rate of pay will be grade 2 (£9.43/hr)

 (The post holder will be employed as Grade 2, Casual Contract)

The Governors of Cardinal Griffin Catholic College are seeking to appoint Casual Exam Invigilators for pupils taking their both internal and external examinations including GCSE and A-Levels throughout the year.  The working hours are flexible and the rate of pay is £9.43 per hour.

The role     

This will be a casual contract

An ideal candidate will be flexible, have effective communication skills and be confident in the presence of pupils. The ability to communicate with children and staff and to work independently using your own initiative is essential. You will have a good standard of education, including literacy and numeracy.

Previous experience of Exam invigilation is not essential, as full training will be provided.

Part of a College, which has a strong positive Catholic ethos and supportive staff.

This post will be subject to enhanced DBS checks and satisfactory references. The College encourages applications from those of the Catholic faith, but it is not a barrier to appointment if candidates do not have that faith background provided they support the ethos of the College. We are extremely proud of our ethos which comes in very large part from our Jesuit Associate School membership and Catholic Diocesan heritage. This teaches us to be grateful for the gift of teaching that we have and to be generous in using it for the good of our pupils.

Closing date for applications is: 9am, 26th November 2021, although the College reserves the right to interview as soon as it has a suitable field of candidates and so encourages early applications.

Previous experience in a similar role would be advantageous, but it not essential.
