Contract: Permanent, 32.5 hours, Term time only (38.6 working weeks)

The Post:

We are seeking a highly organised Catering Supervisor to manage our catering services at Princefield First School. The catering supervisor’s responsibilities will include overseeing food preparation and presentation, maintaining the inventory, liaising with vendors, supervising staff, ensuring that the kitchen meets sanitation standards and support and transport catering for other schools.

To be successful in this role, you should have a personable demeanour, a passion for customer service, as well as good networking and financial management skills.

The post holder will carry out a range of catering duties including:

  • Food Preparation
  • Stock Control including ordering and price negotiations
  • Line management and training of catering team
  • Ensuring all health, Safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Menu Planning and Menu Creation
  • Marketing
  • Day to day Financial control of the business unit
  • Arranging maintenance and mandatory checks of catering equipment
  • Cater for smaller schools
