The Post:

We are excited to announce that a new opportunity has arisen within our Catering Team at Wolgarston High School for a Deputy Catering Coordinator. Following the recent upgrade to a Cashless Catering system, there is now the opportunity to expand our remote dining areas and promote sales in different areas of catering. We are looking for a motivated individual who will thrive at a new opportunity reporting directly to the Catering Coordinator.

The Deputy Catering Coordinator's responsibilities will include assisting the Catering Coordinator in; event planning tasks, overseeing food preparation and presentation, maintaining the inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring that the kitchen meets sanitation standards.

To be successful in this role, you should have a personable demeanour, a passion for customer service, as well as good communication skills and management skills.

The post holder will carry out a range of catering duties including:

  • Food Preparation
  • Transporting and serving meals
  • Stock Control including maintaining and assisting in ordering
  • Assisting with the management and training of catering team
  • Ensuring all health, Safety and hygiene standards are met
  • Assisting with Menu Planning and Menu Creation
  • Promoting sales of food and beverages
  • Assist with arranging maintenance and mandatory checks of catering equipment

We are looking for someone who has good attention to detail and can work independently and to a very high standard.
