This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic friendly team which delivers practical support as an early intervention to families living in Warwickshire.  This is a highly rewarding role which requires one to one work with families.

About Us and The Role

Warwickshire Family Information Service (FIS) provides information advice and guidance on a wide range of subjects to families and professionals working with families in Warwickshire.

The role of FIS differs across the country; in Warwickshire we work very closely with professionals both within and outside the council to ensure families receive the information and support they need at the earliest possible opportunity to prevent escalation of need.  This includes ensuring digital information is accurate and up to date via webpages and social media, managing a confidential helpline service and providing face to face support for families in their own homes.

We are looking for professional people with a good knowledge of the information and support needs, and services that provide these needs for families living in Warwickshire.  Due to the nature of the role you will need to be flexible and adaptable with the ability to think on your feet.

Whilst working as part of team, you will be expected to manage your own time and travel effectively across Warwickshire to deliver the service.

The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.
