About us and the role

Reablement focuses on promoting independence by supporting people to do as much as possible for themselves both physically and psychologically. It seeks to slow down dependency by doing things for people and assists them in doing things for themselves. We believe that by supporting customers to identify and achieve outcomes in every aspect of their lives and by embedding personalisation, customers will have choice and control over how their support will be delivered, this will have a positive impact on health and well-being.

Within the delivery of Warwickshire Reablement Service, administrators provide valuable support to the Team Managers and Seniors, the Team Administrator, Assessment Team, Supervisors and Reablement Assistants. The Reablement Office is a busy working environment. It is important that you are organised and can prioritise your workload, sometimes working to departmental deadlines.

You are required to have relevant clerical knowledge of using Microsoft Office based software. Excellent literacy and numerical skills are a requirement of this role. On a daily basis, the role requires you to deal with colleagues, customers, health professionals and the public, either face to face or over the telephone, so it is important you have a courteous, professional manner. You must be able to work as part of a team but also have the ability to work on your own initiative. It is important to respect and maintain confidentiality of information, whilst adhering to Warwickshire County Council Policy and Procedures. You should maintain a commitment to anti-discriminatory practice in employment and service provision. The ability to be flexible is essential.
