Working hours will be 8.00am to 4:30pm Thursday and Friday. Hours may need to be adjusted by the Principal from time to time and will be based on the school’s needs

Ninestiles School is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to join our team as Receptionist. Candidates must have a good level of experience in working within Customer Service with an understanding of the challenges of working in a busy reception environment.

The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, ideally within a school setting but not essential and have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills as this role requires regular contact with parents, staff, students and the local community. Other essential skill sets involve the ability to be able to work flexibly and prioritise workload, work calm under pressure and uphold a professional, friendly manner at all times. It is desirable if candidates have received safeguarding training or have good knowledge about the child safeguarding and protection procedures, however full training will be given.

Ninestiles has a very reflective teaching staff body who welcome feedback from parents and students to secure the needs of all learners. The school has a wide and varied curriculum, students have access to an impressive range of sporting and extracurricular activities with well over sixty enrichment opportunities offered after school. There is a strong culture of safeguarding and staff work positively with the leadership team to ensure students are kept safe.

Purpose of Role:

• to welcome parents, staff, students and visitors to the school and operate the friendly ‘Open Door’ policy

• to provide a professional and efficient front of house service to all visitors and stakeholders within the community and wider areas

• to successfully carry out the full range of duties as a Receptionist (answer calls, emails, filing, post distribution etc.)

• to be a member of the wider administration team and to contribute to the development of whole school administration and to assist with its delivery.
