Site Technician – Q3 Academy Langley

Q3 Academy Langley opened its doors in September 2016, becoming the first brand new secondary education provider in Sandwell in a decade. 

In September our final phase of our building opened, therefore we are now seeking either one Site Technician or two part time Site Technicians as a split shift to join our dedicated, efficient and hardworking site team. 

If working a full time role pattern of working would be 37 hours per week plus 30 minutes unpaid break.

If working part time the pattern of working will be 20 hours per week and either a morning or afternoon shift.

This is an all year round post and changes to start and finish times may occur during the term breaks.

This post plays a key part in the undertaking of maintenance of the school building and surrounding site. Having a full drivers licence would be an advantage and the ability to drive the school minibus.

Hours:                 

37 hrs per week or 20 hrs per week, Monday – Friday, 06:00am-10:00am and 14:00pm-18:00pm Job share considered, Full or Part time (All year round). Duties will include out of hours work and some unsociable hours.

Salary:

Scale 3, Point 5-8, FTE £19,312 - £20,493 (current rate) Actual Salary £10,438 – £11,077
