Vehicle and Plant Mechanic

We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle and Plant Mechanic to work within our Transport section.
The successful candidate will have a Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Mechanics and extensive experience working as a vehicle mechanic, preferably with light commercial vehicles and within a transport workshop environment. You will be competent in all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair of vehicles and plant, interpretation and analysis of technical service data and implementation of statutory maintenance standards.
A DVSA qualification is desirable, as is the ability to drive and operate a forklift truck and/or hold a HGV/LGV licence for driving category C vehicles on the public highway. Certification as a MOT tester would also be advantageous.
The hours of work will be full time, 37 hours per week, which will be worked on a shift basis with a requirement for Saturday working
