Project Manager (Corporate)

Salary:  £37890 – 41881 per annum

37 Hours per week – Permanent  

Strategic Property is responsible for ensuring that Staffordshire County Council has a safe, efficient, and cost effective corporate and maintained schools’ estate.

As Project managers you would plan, manage, and monitor a portfolio of projects ensuring they are delivered within the agreed timescales and resources and in compliance with agreed quality standards and operational procedures. 

You would be responsible for monitoring and management of budgets associated with projects, which may be capital and/or revenue.  This would involve commissioning professional services providers for relevant project activities including construction and ensure that appropriate management of construction activities takes place.

The post holder will require experience of delivering successful projects, developing business cases, managing risk, understanding client health and safety obligations, working with stakeholders and project sponsors.

You will need to be an organised person, who is able to manage multiple projects, have good communication skills, demonstrate the ability to negotiate and influence others to ensure successful project delivery.  This Authority is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
