Job Details
We are looking for a Control Room Operator to work as part of an established team based in Sandwell Council’s CCTV control room.
Your role will be to monitor and operate all systems within the Control Room in an efficient, proactive and reactive manner. Systems to include CCTV, door-entry control and intercom communication. You will be required to gather evidence of breaches of tenancy, anti-social behaviour and acts of a criminal nature. You will also be responsible for communicating with and assisting residents, members of the public and all partners as required.
It is a requirement of the role to hold an SIA Licence and Level 2 Certificate for CCTV Operatives (Public Space Surveillance) B-Tech or equivalent.

Hours
29.51 (annualised) hours per week
8 hour shift (4 on 4 off shift system, covering days, evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays).We reserve the right to close vacancies prior to their advertised date if we receive a large number of applications.
