About Us and The Role

Warwickshire Virtual School needs a knowledgeable and experienced Early Years Education Officer.

The post is initially for two years.

The post holder will:

  • Maintain oversight of children in local authority care from age two to the end of their reception year
  • Monitor attainment and progress to ensure children access opportunities and aspirational provision to facilitate future educational success
  • Advise professionals to encourage take up of the most appropriate provision

You will need to be proactive and sensitive to needs and circumstances, readily signposting to support services and ensuring timely actions and follow up by liaising with relevant professionals.

A suitably knowledgeable and experienced person will enjoy the opportunity to support the development of the work of the Virtual School, Education Services and Social Care in achieving their objectives for children in the care of Warwickshire.
