37 hours per week

This is an exciting opportunity to coordinate the delivery of an innovate new development site in the Warwick area.  The Council wants to play a leading role in bringing forward a low carbon development that can deliver vital public services, improved infrastructure, and opportunities for economic activity. Crucially it is indented that the delivery of the site will also enable the release of land for a Country Park.  This site has the potential to link directly to renewable solar energy generation and could include a hydrogen hub and “last mile distribution centre.

By playing an active coordinating role in delivering this complex site, this role has the potential to make a real difference in supporting our local economy, improving our local environment and helping to achieve the Council’s carbon reduction ambitions. 

The successful candidate will work with partners and developers to progress the development in line with the Council’s vision for the site.  The postholder will be part of a team of project officers working on a range of development projects such as town centre regeneration and the creative quarter. It will also link closely with the Council’s site delivery officers and planning teams. 

The intention is for this jobholder to work from home. However, office working is available if necessary.
