Term time only – part time 18.75 hours per week Monday to Friday

Start Date: 3 January 2022

Salary Grade 3 - £18562 - £18933 pro rota

Lane Green First School is looking to appoint an inspiring and motivating Teaching Assistant to join our wonderful EYFS team.  Governors and leaders are looking to recruit a new member of the school family who will support us in providing excellent nursery provision, ensuring that our pupils have the best possible start to their educational journey.

The successful candidate will work as part of the EYFS team to assist in the teaching of children and the creation of learning environments, both indoors and outdoors.  We are looking for a nurturing practitioner who will actively promote the ethos and philosophy of our caring and achieving school.

Our ideal candidate will be an outstanding practitioner (Level 2)  with strong personal drive, a nurturing persona and recent Early Years experience.  The ideal candidate will:

  • Ensure the learning environment and resources are well organised, clean, safe and accessible to all children.
  • Safeguard children, ensuring excellent education and childcare.
  • Participate in children’s play and extend and stimulate language through effective conversation.
  • Contribute, implement and evaluate the planning of the early years curriculum, under the supervision of the EYFS team.
  • Be fully committed to the high expectations of Lane Green First School.
  • Want to make a positive difference.
