NJC Scale 5 £22,627 - £24,491 per annum pro rata
Part time - 18.5 hours per week

Are you seeking to work in a small enthusiastic team, working mainly in the community, travelling across both Telford & Wrekin and Shropshire on a daily basis, to deliver bespoke educational programmes to pre-school children with complex special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)?
Telford & Wrekin and Shropshire Portage Service are committed to early intervention, the promotion of inclusion and provide a highly professional, educational home visiting service for families of pre-school children with complex special educational needs. The positive outcomes for families and children make this area of work hugely rewarding.
To apply for the post you will need experience of working with pre-school children with SEND and their families, have an understanding of child development and knowledge of supporting vulnerable families. You will need a willingness to train as a Portage Home Visitor if not already qualified.
You will be well organised and self-motivated, a good listener and communicator. You will also have a tactful and sensitive approach.
