Learning Mentor – Birchen Coppice Academy

To start as soon as possible -  fixed term to 31st August 2022 in the first instance

(8.00am-4.10pm, Monday to Friday to include a 30 minute lunch break)

Birchen Coppice Academy are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated learning mentor to join our team. You will work as part of our Pastoral Support Team to remove barriers to learning for our children and families through in class, small group and individual support. You will be happy to run after school family clubs and sessions and work closely with parents and carers. 

The Successful Candidate will:
•    Have experience of supporting children and families in a school environment
•    Have an understanding of the needs of vulnerable pupils and a passion to ‘make a difference’
•    Be highly motivated and able to work independently showing high levels of initiative
•    Be committed to helping children achieve their potential
•    Be a caring, supportive individual with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
