An opportunity has arisen for a permanent full-time grade 5 officer in the Contracts Management Function within the Education Infrastructure Team. The post will be based within the Education & Early Years Division at 1 Lancaster Circus but currently working from home.

The successful candidate will need to have knowledge and understanding of and experience in managing both hard and soft FM contracts and preferably with operational experience of PFI contract management. The post holder will have a technical related qualification and or be able to demonstrate relevant experience in this challenging and complex environment. This is a pivotal role in the management of the four schools PFI contracts, significantly contributing to the overall contract management function as an expert in estates Contract Management and or PFI/PPP Asset Management.

The role will involve working within a multi-disciplinary environment which will include internal and external contractors, the Council's senior leadership, other Local Authorities, Central Government Departments, schools and academies. Applicants will be expected to meet the requirements of the attached person specification.
