Class Teacher

The Role

Our broad spectrum Special School, which is part of Unity MAT, caters for pupils aged 4-19 years. We have a warm, mutually supportive and caring ethos with dedicated and skilled staff who are highly aspirational and committed to pupil welfare, progress and life-chances.

General duties and responsibilities:

• To carry out the duties of a schoolteacher as set out in the School Teachers Pay and Conditions Document.
• To continue to meet the required National Standards for teachers.

Key Requirements

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reflective and creative teacher to join our friendly and ambitious school. Experience of working with pupils with a range of complex needs is desirable. A passion for enabling pupils with SEN to achieve their full potential is essential.

The vacancy is for a part-time teacher for the Primary Department (4 days a week, permanent contract).

Relevant Allowances: SEN Allowance.
