SHINE Academies is a growing Trust currently comprises of 4 schools, Northwood Park Primary School in Bushbury, Villiers Primary School in Bilston, Lodge Farm Primary School in Willenhall and Busill Jones Primary School in Bloxwich.
We are currently looking to expand our Family Support and Safeguarding Teams and have a number of opportunities available on a permanent and fixed term basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead our Family Support Team and become a highly valued member of staff at one of our four schools. This is a large primary school that highly values the early intervention work that the family support team do with their children, family and local community.
You will be an excellent communicator who will work with children and their families (primarily in school, but will undertake home visits as needed). You will have experience of working with children & families and be confident in Safeguarding as your role will include being the school’s Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
You will be a committed professional, dedicated to the wellbeing and safeguarding of the children and families in the Trust. You will be a key member of a highly skilled team that is passionate about children, families and their local community by supporting with assessments, interventions, delivery of parenting advice/classes and working alongside external agencies to ensure the very best for our children and their wider family. You will need to have excellent communication skills, be able to work as part of a team and on your own, have experience of working with children, be able to deliver difficult messages, have empathy and a passion for helping others.
