Business Support Administrator (Safeguarding)

Team: Business Support Unit – Children’s 

Grade 4:   £20,092 - £21,748

One 12 month fixed term contract

Location: Priory Green Building,  and any other locations across Wolverhampton as required including home working.

City of Wolverhampton Council is seeking committed and experienced Business Support Administrators to join a newly formed Business Support Team.

The post holder will be a key member of the Business Support Team and is expected to work flexibly to ensure that high quality support is always provided, enabling safeguarding services to function effectively. 

This role involves a variety of business support tasks, including but not limited to: 

·       Maintaining accurate records and inputting data onto relevant databases  

·       Preparing for and minuting Child Protection conferences and other events as required.  

·       Responding to enquiries from staff and members of the public in line with agreed procedures.  

 

The successful candidate will be innovative, proactive and organised with great attention to detail. You will need strong communication and IT skills, the ability to build strong relationships and be passionate about working within a children’s social care setting.
