An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Member Support Officer within the Fund’s Member Service Team. The West Midlands Pension Fund is a local authority Pension Fund based in Wolverhampton, West Midlands. The Fund is one of the UK’s largest pension funds, managing and administering the pension interest of our members and scheme employers. We currently have over 320,000 scheme members, 670 employers with £16bn of assets under management. The Member Service Team is a dedicated team that provides support and guidance for all members of the Fund through various communications methods including presentations, face to face, workshops, individual consultations and roadshows.

We are looking for Member Support Assistant to assist with the co-ordination of this member support.

Responsibilities will include: · To liaise with the Fund’s employers to book and organise member support. · To complete event booking forms for each event. · Collate stationary for each event and maintain a sufficient level of stationary stock. · Establish excellent working relationships with external organisations e.g. Employers, Trade Unions, Councillors etc. · To assist with the overarching strategy which targets employers to provide member support. · To obtain and follow up feedback from employers after events. · Record all member feedback from events and collate into monthly reports. · Updating the team’s employer activity log and event statistics · Monitoring and maintaining the team’s group email inbox and calendar · To update scheme documentation for external events. · Organise team meetings and take minutes · Maintain member data on our pensions administration system.
